The Friends of the Maynard Library are excited to announce that the 4th Annual Maynard Book Festival will take place on Saturday, April 11th with events all day for all ages. We will welcome distinguished authors, including Norton Juster (the children's classic The Phantom Tollbooth), Vermont crime writer Archer Mayor (Joe Gunther series), investigative reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan (Jane Ryland series), and the highly acclaimed Lily King (Euphoria).

Museum passes are available to anyone who holds a library card for the Minuteman Library Network. Passes should be reserved in advance at the Circulation Desk or by calling 978-897-1010.

Museum passes are provided by a generous $4,000 annual grant from the Friends of the Maynard Public Library.


Download free music you can keep with Freegal!


Freegal Music is a free music service from your library. All you need is your library card number and some libraries utilize a PIN. Freegal offers access to about 8 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000+ labels with music that originates in over 80 countries.

There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries.
